How to wash your cap
Hand wash, air dry, plate off. Ten minutes of care keeps your cap in shape for years — and the steel art plate never goes in the water.

Remove the art plate
The steel plate is magnetic — lift it off before anything touches water and set it aside. It never gets washed.

Hand wash in lukewarm water
Fill a basin with lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle detergent. No harsh chemicals, no bleach — they damage the fabric.

Scrub gently
Work over the cap with a soft cloth or sponge. Focus on the inner headband and the brim, where sweat and dirt collect. Light pressure keeps the shape.

Rinse until the water runs clear
Rinse with cool, clean water until every trace of detergent is gone. Soap residue stiffens the fabric over time.

Reshape and air dry
Press the cap back into shape and let it dry in a cool, shaded spot. No dryer, no radiator — heat warps the brim and weakens the magnets.

The plate never gets washed
Wipe the steel art plate with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. No abrasives — they scratch the surface.
Off the cap, store it flat and apart from other plates so the artwork stays scratch-free.
